The EEIGM gala
The Gala is a major event in the life of the School. During this evening organised by the students, there are concerts, theatre performances, fashion shows, various activities and themed bars (Germany, Spain, Sweden, Belgium, France). The aim of this prestigious evening is to promote the School to all guests: graduate engineers, engineering students, industrialists and parents.

Le tournoi des 4 raquettes – TD4R
The idea of the Tournoi Des 4 Raquettes is not only ambitious from an organisational point of view, but it also has the advantage of being original, as this type of tournament has, to our knowledge, no equal in France. During the TD4R, teams of 4 compete in 4 different disciplines: tennis, badminton, table tennis and padel. Organised by EEIGM students since the school was founded, it is open to other engineering schools at the University of Lorraine and to university students from the region and elsewhere, as well as to EEIGM staff. The atmosphere is very friendly. A competition for the best disguise is organised throughout the day.
Inter-promo tournament
At EEIGM, June is synonymous with exams, but it’s also a time for sport and relaxation, as every year the BDE organises the inter-promo tournament.
This event is an opportunity for each year’s class, as well as the teachers, to form a team and compete against each other for a whole day in different sports.
It’s a great way to strengthen links between the different classes, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The programme included handball, basketball, football, volleyball and a barbecue at lunchtime!
Les 24h de Stan
The biggest student festival in Eastern France!
It’s a race of decorated floats, built by students from Nancy’s engineering schools and faculties… who push them, night and day, whatever the weather, with the strength of their arms and legs for 24 hours around the Place Carrière.
Initiated in 1966 by students at ENSAN (the predecessor of ENSAIA: Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agronomie et des Industries Alimentaires) to promote the Agro ball, the students took it in turns to ride their bikes around an icy Place Stanislas for 24 hours. And that’s how the 24 hours of Stan came about. Since then, every two years, their successors have renewed this fantastic challenge. Over the past 40 years, this traditional event has grown considerably, with students from more than twenty schools and universities in Nancy and the surrounding region joining the ranks of agricultural students. What’s more, the bicycles have been transformed into gigantic anthropomobile floats and now roll around the Place Carrière, decorated in the colours of a theme. The public can also attend shows and events organised in parallel: games, tombola, art exhibitions. The 24 Hours of Stan ENSAIA has become one of the biggest events in Eastern France, and the public, both from Nancy and the surrounding region, are attending in ever-growing numbers.
