Professional degree

In 2014, the EEIGM and the UFA of the Lycée Loritz opened an apprenticeship programme in the non-destructive testing professional degree at the University of Lorraine.

Brief description

  • This degree specialises in the quality control of parts in a manufacturing process. The theoretical part of the course is taught at the EEIGM and the practical part at the apprenticeship training unit (UFA) at the Lycée Loritz. Both establishments are located in the heart of Nancy.
  • The course is based on apprenticeship and prepares students for level II of COFREND certification (professional certification in 5 non-destructive testing techniques).
  • Many companies in the region are partners: Safran, Fives Nordon, Ferry Capitain, Lisi Aerospace, Manoir Aerospace, Fonderies, etc.
  • Students can apply for the course if they have a number of qualifications (BUT, DUT and BTS), as well as 120 ECTS credits from scientific courses.
  • Students on this course have apprentice status (they are fully employed by their companies). Apprentices must be under 30 years of age.

The degree is also open to continuing education.

When entering a new application, choose :

  • Ecole Européenne d’Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux Nancy ;
  • Licence professionnelle ;
  • “LP-Maintenance and technology; industrial control PT Non-destructive testing procedures (EEIGM) (A*)”.

*A = apprenticeship (for initial training students; age limit: 30).
