DOUBLE DEGREES

The EEIGM diploma is a French state diploma approved by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), recognised and signed by the four founding partner universities.

The EEIGM engineering degree automatically confers the grade of Master on the graduate.

The language level of EEIGM engineers is guaranteed by the requirement to obtain two B2 level certificates: at least the FCE (University of Cambridge) in English, and either the ZD B2 in German or the DELE intermedio in Spanish.

DOUBLE DEGREES

All students can obtain a double degree: Franco-German (Master Werkstofftechnik), Franco-Spanish (Master de Materiales – Barcelona), Franco-Swedish (Civilingenjör) or Franco-Austrian (MUL Master of science) if at least three semesters of their studies are spent at the same partner university. With the universities of Valencia (Spain), Brussels (Belgium) and Leoben (Austria), the preparation for a double degree requires a longer period of study.

Franco-Moroccan double degrees (with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Rabat or the Faculté des Sciences et Techniques de Marrakech), Franco-Brazilian double degrees (with the University of Caxias do Sul or the Polytechnic University of São Paulo) and Franco-Japanese double degrees (with the Kyushu Institute of Technology) are also possible.

OTHER DOUBLE DEGREES

  • MASTER IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MAE)The Master in Business Administration is a state-approved degree organised by ISAM-IAE Nancy (University of Lorraine). It enables students to acquire the dual skills sought after by companies: management and administration. The programme is open to other countries and participates in Erasmus international exchange programmes. The aim of this diploma is to provide access to positions of responsibility in various management and management professions, such as business start-up/takeover, management, HRM, etc. Download the brochure.
  • MASTER “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT” (EDA). A state diploma, the Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Business Development is run in partnership with ICN Business School in Metz and Universiapolis in Agadir (Morocco), and is co-accredited with ISAM-IAE in Nancy (University of Lorraine). It has a dual vocation: entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial. The aim is to enable students to master the knowledge and techniques involved in creating and developing business projects, as well as the management techniques appropriate to VSEs and SMEs. The course also develops the social and interpersonal skills needed to manage projects, lead teams and work in a network. More generally, the aim of this diploma is to provide knowledge and know-how about the process of setting up a business, with a presentation of the procedures and networks involved. Download the detailed presentation here.
  • MASTER’S DEGREE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITÉ DU QUÉBEC À CHICOUTIMI. Organised by the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC), the aim of the Master’s in Project Management is “to train qualified professionals, managers or consultants who will have mastered the knowledge and fundamental tools of project management, who will have acquired the ability to carry out rigorous analysis of complex problems so as to be able to develop solutions specific to this sector of activity, and who will have developed the research skills to enable them to undertake projects” (see http://programmes.uqac.ca/3153). This immersion in Canada is in line with EEIGM’s teaching policy, which trains international engineers with a multicultural dimension, a value sought after by companies. The scheme, which was introduced by the EEIGM in 2016, enables the school’s engineering students to take a Master’s degree in Chicoutimi in their 5th year (before the end-of-studies industrial placement), thereby obtaining a double state diploma awarded by UQAC. To find out more about UQAC, the ‘Project Management’ Master’s degree, admission requirements, costs and enrolment procedures: download the presentation brochure here.
  • ESSA (Ecole Supérieure du Soudage et de ses Applications) welding engineer diploma from the Institut de Soudure (Yutz – France). This scheme, introduced by EEIGM in 2021, enables students to prepare for the EEIGM-ESSA double-diploma by extending their course by 6 months.
